Khaitan & Co advised Eminent Electricity Distribution Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC Ltd, under the RPSG Group, on the acquisition of Chandigarh Power Distribution Ltd. This is pursuant to the transfer of the electricity distribution and retail supply functions of Electricity Wing of the Engineering Department of the Administration of Union Territory of Chandigarh to Chandigarh Power Distribution Ltd, as per the Chandigarh Electricity Reform Transfer Scheme 2025.
